This years’ 2022 House of Delegates session features an AM session and a PM session for October 14th, 2022.
The AM session (9am – 12pm) features speakers from Encounter Solutions Leadership Institute, Krish and Diane Anil sharing their most popular “Courageous Leadership” training program. This session is a leadership training session that covers the following objectives:
- Understand the different leadership styles.
- Recognize and identify their own leadership styles.
- Understanding the hurdles in becoming a good leader.
- Overcoming the hurdles in becoming effective leaders.
- ‘Taking Courage’ in the workplace in leadership, communication, implementing change, giving/receiving feedback, and more.
- Identifying 4 core blocks getting in the way of being a courageous leader.
- Strategy to break free from the blocks holding people back.

The PM session (2pm – 5pm) features speaker Danielle Rulli on the topic of “Contemporary Instrumentation Strategies for Prevention, Maintenance and Nonsurgical Periodontal Therapy”. This session is designed to cover the following objectives:
- Review unique anatomical features of the adult dentition and the implications for dental hygiene instrumentation
- Apply this knowledge in instrument selection and treatment
- Analyze “advanced” instrument designs and their care
- Examine channeling and implement in instrumentation
- Examine the evidence regarding glycine/erythritol debridement and periodontal endoscopy
- Discuss contemporary biofilm management and non-surgical strategies for implementation into practice

SPEAKER BIOS
Krish brings a diverse background in corporate coaching with his experiences in business management, healthcare, and educational leadership. His educational background in dental, counseling, and business, give him an edge and the ability to offer invaluable insight for leadership and executive training. He has a passion to change old leadership methodologies to dynamic and innovative leadership strategies, that can stand the test of time.
Diane has a background in Communications, Motivational Speaking, Human Resource Development, Real Estate, Corporate Coaching, and Life Coaching. She is a graduate of Oakland University and holds a certification in Counseling from Concordia University. Her passion is to train and equip courageous and effective leaders, while providing sustainable transformation in the lives of individuals and organizations. She is devoted to her husband, children, two fur babies, and global missions.
Danielle Rulli, RDH, MS, DHSc, is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, Department of Periodontics & Oral Medicine, Division of Dental Hygiene and is the Director of the Master’s of Science in Dental Hygiene Program. Dr. Rulli’s research interests include mentoring, inter-professional education/ collaboration, integrated care, clinical and online learning, and the non-surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. Dr. Rulli was a contributor to Oral Health in America: Advances and Challenges, the landmark follow up to the 2000 Surgeon General’s Oral Health in America published by the NIDCR. She is recognized for her leadership and contributions to dental education, receiving a Chair of the ADEA Board of Directors Citation. In addition to being an educator, she has previously worked for the American Dental Hygienists’ Association as the Manager of Student Relations. She maintains active clinical practice in the Department of Periodontics and Oral Medicine Faculty Practice.
