Farmington Hills, MI 48334 248-553-0300 6-8:30Pm 2 CE Jill Loewen, CDA, RDA, MS, CTTS Jill Loewen, CDA, RDA, MS, CTTS is a clinical associate professor and full-time faculty member at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She joined the University in March, 2001. Jill serves as Project Coordinator for the Tobacco Use Prevention and Treatment Program at the dental school. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Allied Health Education and a Master of Science Degree in Career and Technical Education from Ferris State University. She is a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist and is past Chair of the American Dental Education Association’s Section on Substance Abuse, Addictions and Tobacco Dependence Education. Her teaching responsibilities at the school include teaching dental and dental hygiene students and residents how to help their patients stop using tobacco. Jill has provided numerous local, state, and national continuing education courses on Tobacco Dependence Treatment topics and has conducted table clinics, exhibits and poster presentations on tobacco use prevention and education. She is the author of several publications.
