"Important Pharmacological Issues That Impact the Dental Office" By Curtis Smith, Pharm.D,  BCPS Dr. Smith practices at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing and serves as Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Ferris State University's College of Pharmacy in Lansing. His session will cover antiplatelet agents, the newer anticoagulants and perioperative management of anticoagulants; endocarditis prevention; and the Michigan Automated Prescription System (MAPS).  Dr. Smith looks forward to presenting and participating in a meaningful discussion with attendees.   "The MDHA Legislative Action Plan" by Sarah Hubbard BA, MPA, MBA Did you know that MDHA has recently contracted with a new lobbyist? **This event date is April TBA** Dr. John Faber DDS "HPV and Oral Cancer" These days, there is a high concern about HPV in the public eye, but not many patients or professionals know much about the virus. Dr. John Faber's presentation will shed some light on the subject and give us information to utilize in educating our patients about HPV. Regular meeting courses are free for members of ADHA, ADAA, ADA and are only $20 per hour for non-members. Regular meetings will be held at Dr. Faust's building, 5238 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917 unless otherwise indicated. **New time schedule! Doors open at 5:45.
