You will meet a Professor of Pharmacy Practice from Ferris State University talk about, "Important Pharmacological Issues that Impact the Dental Office". (Note this is a different speaker than the pharmacist we initially announced. Our original speaker had a family emergency. The program is identical, however.) And Central District is the first Michigan Dental Hygienists' Association Component introducing the new lobbyist for MDHA, Sarah Hubbard! Her presentation is, "The MDHA Legislative Action Plan". His session will cover antiplatelet agents, the newer anticoagulants and perioperative management of anticoagulants; endocarditis prevention; and the Michigan Automated Prescription System (MAPS). Dr. Smith looks forward to presenting and participating in a meaningful discussion with attendees. Come hear Sarah Hubbard, Principal and co-founder of the firm Acuitas LLC, who was selected by the mDHA after a search this summer. HPV and Oral Cancer
Dr. Faust's building 5238 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI, United States**This event date is April TBA** Dr. John Faber DDS "HPV and Oral Cancer" These days, there is a high concern about HPV in the public eye, but not many patients or professionals know much about the virus. Dr. John Faber's presentation will shed some light on the subject and give us information to utilize in educating our patients about HPV. Regular meeting courses are free for members of ADHA, ADAA, ADA and are only $20 per hour for non-members. Regular meetings will be held at Dr. Faust's building, 5238 W St Joseph Hwy, Lansing, MI 48917 unless otherwise indicated. **New time schedule! Doors open at 5:45.
