The Michigan Dental Hygienists’ Association will be working again with the MDA to provide our dental community the quality programming that you come to expect when attending the Spirit of Michigan Meeting.  This will be the seventh year of collaboration with the MDA to deliver an agenda that will stimulate you and bring relevance to the practice of dental hygiene and dentistry. The Spirit of Michigan Meeting will be held in Grand Rapids at the DeVos Convention Center. Grand Rapids will not disappoint you. If and when you find some free time, a must see is the Gerald R. Ford Museum, located right downtown. Other highlights include the “Steel Water” sculpture commemorating water fluoridation, the Grand Rapids Art Museum, The VanAndel Museum, the Children’s Museum (which features a dental exhibit) as well as Frederick Meijer Gardens, which is just a short drive from the downtown area. Please come network and get reacquainted with old friends and colleagues. This meeting is not only an opportunity to develop and enhance your knowledge and skills but to reignite your enthusiasm for dentistry.
